Type Specimen
Adelle Promotion
A type specimen brochure for Adelle,
designed in away that showcases the
         glaring parallels between typography
 and architecture.
Objective
This is a type specimen promotion piece that aims to introduce a typeface that was designed by a type foundry. The project should appeal to graphic designers and type savvy audience. The design should allow the typeface to shine by showing its versatile usage and explaining its appeal in a fun and engaging way.

Approach
I chose the typeface Adelle by Veronika Burian and José Scaglione, and applied an accordion-fold format. On the front of the brochure, I displayed the characteristics of Adelle with different scale and weight combinations. On the back side, I played with the forms of typography and architecture, recreating quotes by famous architects with this exquisitely designed slab serif.
